Across all backgrounds, our care for the land unites us.

Olfa Ben Ali’s practice is rooted in a direct engagement with the land. Through the cultivation of plants and the development of natural dyes, she explores material, colour, and texture as interconnected processes. In collaboration with farmers and breeders in the Netherlands and France, her work extends from land to textile, linking ecology, labour, and artistic production.
Harvested materials are then transformed in her studio into colour and texture, translating processes of growth into textile form.
